David is a creative and strategic thought partner with a personable approach to helping clients think and act more resourcefully at work and at home. His professional practice is focused on the core disciplines of interpersonal neurobiology, mindset optimization, and emotional agility.
David’s early career focused on accounting and financial management in both the private and public sectors, beginning with a small healthcare technology startup, followed by consulting work with a transportation agency. David then worked as the Internet Services Department Manager for an international publishing company for nearly a decade before returning to the public sector, spending the last 18 years holding financial management roles in both public education and local government.
In addition to working full-time in the various roles noted, David built and has maintained a coaching practice on the side for over 20 years. While initially certified as a career coach, he then shifted to leadership coaching with a focus on performance improvement and overcoming self-sabotage. Always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to expand his coaching work with business leaders, David came across Andiron’s Key Polarity Indicator (KPI) and immediately recognized the power and potential it offered as a catalyst for growth and transformation. He enrolled in the next available KPI workshop and followed that by completing the KPI Certification course.
A lifelong learner, David is committed to a never-ending journey of personal and professional development. His most recent advanced training and certifications include: Certified KPI Practitioner (Key Polarity Indicator), Certified Talent Optimization Consultant (The Predictive Index), Certified Neuroscience Coach (School of Coaching Mastery), Certified InterStrength CORE Practitioner (InterStrength Institute), Myers-Briggs Certified Practitioner (Reynierse Revised Theory), Comprehensive Course In Interpersonal Neurobiology (Mindsight Institute), and Trauma Informed Care Certificate (Trauma Informed Oregon).
